Welcome to my favorite things Custom Shop! Custom design work is the foundation of my favorite things. I would love to work with you to create your own one-of-a-kind, custom, handmade piece. Using both new and vintage fabrics, all items are created with you in mind. Such creativity does take a bit more time and attention, but the end result is something of sheer joy.

Try to see these items as a place to begin your dream—the shape of a pillow, the size of a throw, the framework of a bag. From there, we can work together on the colors, patterns, and textures you would like for your own custom piece. Read on to take the first step in the custom design process.

Please understand that because Custom Shop items are designed exclusively for you, normal returns and refunds are not possible for custom made pieces. See the purchase policy before you begin the custom design process.

FIRST, check out the price points for each item.

Get an idea of how much your custom piece may cost. Keep in mind that your item could cost more than the price listed, so determine ahead of time the maximum investment you want to make. Remember, all designs are custom, handmade, one-of-a-kind originals made with vintage and vintage replica fabrics. Much time and care will be invested in making your custom piece.

I’ll reply to your request with more information regarding the completion of your custom piece. In general, the custom process will play out as follows:

• I will contact you to confirm the design and pricing (price will include tax; shipping costs not included)
• You send a 50 percent deposit and my work begins
• I will contact you when the piece is complete and provide the total balance due (remaining 50 percent of item price plus the shipping fee)
• You send the remaining 50 percent and the shipping fee; I ship your custom piece
• You receive your custom, handmade, one-of-a-kind original design
